33 L HomeBrewWest Dual Fermenter Beer Starter Kit

This boxed home brew beer starter kit differs from other HomeBrewWest starters kits in that it has two fermentation vessels. This kit allows you to syphon beer from the primary fermenter to the secondary, where you can mix priming sugar with your beer. Most conventional beer equipment kits work like this.

The advantage is that you avoid the need to prime each bottle individually (this is a lot of work unless you use carbonation drops).

The disadvantage is that it requires an extra step, and this extra step can introduce more oxygen (air) into your beer, so be careful to gently mix the priming sugar in the secondary fermenter.

This home brew kit is ideal for those on a budget, who wish to avoid the hassle or cost of individually priming beer bottles.

It has two high quality 33 liter fermentation buckets, and a telescopic de-luxe model syphon containing a tube clip for controlling the flow of beer at bottling time; this syphon has a clever attachment that allows you to suck beer into the syphon without contaminating the beer. The larger fermentation buckets allow more head space for homebrew beer, avoiding the overspills associated with the smaller 25 liter fermenters.

It also comes with a liquid crystal thermometer so that fermentation temperature can be monitored without having to open the fermenter, and air is thus kept out after fermentation has started.
