In other words, its got absolutely everything you will ever need to make homebrew beer at any time of the year (brew belts are essential in all but the hot summer months in order to keep your fermenting beer at the correct temperature).

HomeBrewWest were the first in Ireland (and among the first in the world) to introduce new technology Ox-Bar bottles. Before this innovation, we recommended using glass bottles. This was because, over time, ordinary plastic bottles allow CO2 to escape and Oxygen to enter your bottled beer. This causes your beer to go flat, and taste off. Not any more! These amazing 3 layer bottles are constructed of a layer of Ox-Bar sandwiched between two layers of PET. All the advantages of glass bottles, but with the convenience of screw cap bottles.

Just applying a bit of modern technology has made brewing beer so much easier and enjoyable! This starter kit really makes the whole process so simple and mess free. And its incredibly cost effective too!

It enables beer making without regularly opening the fermenter, thus avoiding washing and sterilizing thermometers and hydrometers etc, and it also keeps air away from your precious brew.

For simple filling of beer bottles (we all hate this part), the fermentation bucket has a "Little Bottler" mechanism attached: just push the bottle up, and when full, lower it - the flow of beer automatically stops. No more messing with syphons and spilling beer everywhere!

And it contains a hydrometer, and trial jar which can be filled without opening the fermenter. Again, no messing around.

A large liquid crystal thermometer you attach to the outside of the fermenter means you can monitor the temperature, once again without opening the fermenter. This is a quality thermometer that is very easy to read (10 oC to 40 oC).

It also containg brewing sugar to improve the quality of your home brew beer, and carbonation drops to make bottling your homebrew beer a breeze.

This kit comes with a high quality translucent (no colouring agents in the plastic) polypropylene 33 liter fermenter (we found that 25 liter buckets overflow through the airlock, making quite a mess and posing an infection risk). It also comes with a proper bubbler airlock.

Special tip: (applies to all beer and wine kits): before you add the yeast, make sure the temperature is not too high! If the temperature drops below the recommended range, fermentation simply slows down. But if it gets too high, the beer can be ruined!
