Alcotec 48 Carbon Turbo Yeast is essentially an extra pure strain of Alcotec 48 turbo yeast with activated carbon for very pure high alcohol fermentations. Alcotec 48 is the worlds best selling turbo yeast, and this one is even better for fermenting home brewed spirit bases.
Its made from a very clean yeast strain which is a temperature tolerant, high alcohol distillers strain with a very precisely composed nutrient mix. Alcotec then added a mixture of high specification activated carbons to push the limits of purity and odourless fermentations. The precisely composed nutrition, containing its own nitrogen source, a pH regulator, trace minerals, vitamins and even a special antifoaming agent provides the ultimate yeast sachet for creating high alcohol washes up to 20% ABV, or super fast fermentations up to 14% ABV.
