Caramel/Crystal Malts

Caramel malts with increasing EBC (colour). Caramel malts are produced by roasting ‘green’ malt (malt before it is kilned) in a closed drum so that the moisture is retained and the starches are converted to fermentable sugars. Since these grains have effectively ‘mashed’ themselves they can be used in extract beers

By default, grain is send out whole, but if you select the "Crushed" option, we will crush it for you just before your order is packed. 25 Kg sacks are shipped whole only.
