Since Harvard professor David Sinclair published his book "Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why We Don’t Have To" in September 2019, we've spent years trying to source the ingredients he takes himself. The biggest problem we encountered is that there are top quality suppliers, poor quality suppliers, and complete fakes. And its almost impossible to figure it out. Even the best known US suppliers have some dubious web sites promoting links to their products.
So its very difficult to source the best quality components.
We fully expect Harvard to use the best quality NMN, and that this is also the source of NMN that David uses himself. He won't say, and he doesn't endorse any brand or manufacturer.
So we tracked down the company that supplies Harvard, and this is where our NMN comes from.
If you've been using other NMN which can be a bit cheaper, you'll probably notice a substantial difference in quality. We've tried NMN from the major manufacturers and this is our experience. Our NMN is manufactured using a fully enzymatic catalytic method. Less solvents and impurities etc.
Certificate of analysis information is included above in chronological order; this is currently derived from manufacturer certificates of analysis supplied to us. Compare the solvent (Ethanol) figure with other manufacturers: 0.0052% is equivalent to 52 ppm and this is up to 10 times lower than other manufacturers.
