SmartStill is a high Quality, compact stainless steel table top distillation unit. It incorporates an internal air cooled condensing unit and does not require running water.

It comes complete with jug, carbon filter holder, activated carbon sachet, and copperfilter pad to get you going.

Smart Still is perfect for producing pure water which is important for fermenting beer or wine. Although Smart Still can safely distill both water and alcohol, it is illegal to use it to distill alcohol in Ireland without the proper licences and permits.

When used as an alcohol still, we strongly suggest that you use:
- Alcotec Triple Still Turbo Yeast, and
- Alcotec 24 TurboKlar
to get the best result.

TurboKlar is essential, because it removes yeast cells from the wash. These yeast cells would otherwise cause unpleasent flavours and aromas in the distilled alcohol.
