The Coopers brewery was located close to an area known as the Devil’s Half Acre way back in 1862; the scary name came about because of menacing people that hung around the area. So it had a reputation as being a place to steer clear of, especially at at night.
This devilish brew is inspired by these shady characters in the Devil’s Half Acre. As black and sinister as night, this full bodied Porter has ruby hints, delicious chocolate toffee malt character, moderate bitterness with fruity hop notes and a rich creamy head. It’s sure to bring out your dark side!
